Alex Piva | Physiotherapist
Alex Piva has been a true local within the Bribie Island community since a young age and is now raising his own family on Bribie. Alex thoroughly enjoys living and working on the Island and experiencing what it has to offer. Alex started working at Bribie Island Physiotherapy in 2016 and ever since has been trying to give his best back to the community. He has an interest in chronic and acute musculoskeletal conditions, sports injury management and prevention, paediatric and youth care, persistent/chronic pain, and dysfunction. Alex additionally enjoys working with those battling neurological disorders like Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, and Motor Neuron Disease. Alex is friendly and very passionate about his work which reflects on his patients’ outcomes and enjoys working with all demographics and populations.

 

Daniel O'Connor | Physiotherapist
Growing up in regional Victoria, Daniel moved to Queensland to study Physiotherapy at CQ University where he graduated with First Class Honours. Empathetic and compassionate, Daniel has a keen interest in instilling self-reliance and empowerment in his patients to assist them in achieving their goals where he employs a wide range of treatment options for musculoskeletal conditions such as lower back, shoulder and neck pain that are individual-specific to ensure the best outcome. Daniel has a special interest in furthering his professional development in Vestibular rehabilitation to allow him to assist people with the assessment and treatment of vertigo and balance-impairment-related conditions. 

 

Matt Arnold | Exercise Physiologist
Matt is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who graduated from Australian Catholic University with a Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology. Matt has a special interest in musculoskeletal conditions in particular the shoulder and traumatic injuries as well as exercise oncology. Matt believes movement is medicine and everyone can benefit from exercise no matter their circumstances. Matt’s passionate about encouraging physical activity for everyone and creating tailored programs to help clients achieve their goals. When Matt’s not in the clinic he likes to spend his free time practicing martial arts, running or going on walks with his partner and Labradoodle Lola.
